R.C. Sandilands Electrical Services has been based at 10 Barn Street, Strathaven since 1949 — a family business now in its third generation, serving homes, farms and businesses across Strathaven, Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Central Scotland.

Over 75 years, the electrical trade has transformed beyond recognition. Alongside the rewires, fault-finding and consumer unit upgrades that have always been at the core of what we do, we now install EV charge points, smart heating controls and interlinked fire and alarm systems. We've grown with the industry, but the way we work hasn't changed. Every job is carried out by fully trained, qualified electricians, finished to a tidy standard and certified to current regulations before we leave site.

We hold a full range of industry accreditations: NICEIC Approved Contractor, SELECT member, TrustMark certified, SafeContractor accredited,  Constructionline registered, and Scottish Building Standards approved certifier. As an OZEV-approved EV charge point installer and Energy Saving Trust Partner, we're also well placed to help homeowners and businesses make the move towards low-carbon technology — whether that's a home charger, a commercial charging bay.
